17 weeks!!

I'm 17 weeks!!!

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 17 Weeks

Size of baby: Our little girl is the size of a turnip:)

Total Weight Gain/Loss: still 1 pound...I'm sure the weight gain is coming

Maternity Clothes: Right now I am loving maxi dresses

Gender: A healthy baby GIRL!!

Movement: I'm feeling lots of movement when I'm sitting still

Sleep: Sleeping great:)

What I miss: Caffeine!

Cravings: Mostly sweets

Symptoms: Still sleepy most of the time

Graham loves getting his picture taken too:)

We are still deciding on a name but as of now we like...

16 weeks!!

Size of baby: Baby Cheney is the size of an avocado

Total Weight Gain/Loss: just 1 lb.

Maternity Clothes: I'm mostly wearing my normal clothes

Gender: A healthy baby GIRL!! We are still thinking about a name.

Movement: I've felt a few flutters at night:)

Sleep: Sleeping great:)

What I miss: Caffeine!

Cravings: This week I've been craving chocolate milkshakes from chick fil a:)

Symptoms: Still sleepy most of the time

Yesterday, I had my 15 week check-up and to my surprise the Dr. arranged an ultrasound so we could see the gender. We wanted to tell Graham yesterday but he was running fever so we waited until today:))

We are so excited!!!!

How Far Along: 15 Weeks

Size of baby: Baby Cheney is the size of an apple

Total Weight Gain/Loss: I've gained 1 lb but I feel my tummy really started to poke out this week:)

Maternity Clothes: I'm mostly wearing my normal clothes but I have a feeling I'm going to live in tunics and leggings this pregnancy!

Gender: Can't wait to find out!! We go to the Dr. on Wednesday and I'm hoping they do a ultrasound:) We took a family pole last night and it was divided. I'll be happy with a boy or girl. Just praying for ahealthy baby.

Movement: I've felt a few flutters at night:) I'm ready to feel the baby more.

Sleep: Sleeping great when my son isn't waking me up at night to blow his nose:)

What I miss: Caffeine!

Cravings: Sweets and Mexican

Symptoms: mostly tiredness

14 weeks!!

I'm 14 weeks!

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 14 Weeks

Size of baby: Baby Cheney is the size of a lemon

Total Weight Gain/Loss: During my first trimester I lost about 10 lbs because I was so sick, but in the past week I've gained 1 lb.

Maternity Clothes: I'm mostly wearing my normal clothes but I have a feeling I'm going to live in tunics and leggings this pregnancy!

Gender: Can't wait to find out!

Movement: I've felt a few flutters at night:)

Sleep: I'm so tired - that I sleep pretty good!

What I miss: Caffeine!

Cravings: Sweets

Symptoms: I'm starting to feel a lot better. However, I'm still tired a lot and still get nauseated every now and then.

This pregnancy is already so different from when I was pregnant with Graham. I NEVER got sick with Graham and I do not remember being this tired all the time. Today marks my first day in my second trimester so I'm looking forward to having more energy:)

My sweet Graham,

I cannot believe that you are THREE years old today. I remember three years ago we could not wait to meet you and to see if you were a boy or girl. So much anticipation and excitement surrounded your birth. The Lord blessed us so much the day you were born.

You are ALL boy and a wild one at that! You keep your Momma very busy:) You have the funniest personality. You have us laughing everyday with the funny things you say or do. Your favorite thing is still tractors, trucks, or anything that moves.

I love you so much, Graham. You have taught me so much over the past three years. A love I never knew I could feel, patience, and selflessness are a few of those things. You are so amazing to me and I am thankful to God for allowing me to be your mother. I pray I can always be the mother for you that the Lord has called me to be.

You are so excited about becoming a big brother in September. It is absolutely the sweetest thing. You love to tell people that your momma is having a baby. I know you are going to love your baby brother or sister so much. You're going to be my big helper and I can't wait:)
